greyduck ref basic form

I realize my style takes a lil getting used to- and GREYDUCK s kind of an abstract creature, so here is a basic 'style-removed' ref sample of GREYDUCK (a lil color ref in back for fun) for those wishing to submit art for the 'vs gallery'. I will choose and print as many as I can squeeze into the book. I call it the 'vs gallery' because the idea is more than just a pinup section of the book, the goal is to render your own take on greyduck 'VS' a monster of your own design.

WHAT'S GREYDUCK?
GREYDUCK is my take on Kaiju/Daikaiju (giant monster) genre. GREYDUCK; VOLUME OF ROARS is my graphic novel (still in production) and will hopefully be done and printed in early-mid 07'. FYI:despite the word 'duck' in the name, GREYDUCK is more giant monster action/adventure with a weird bit of philosophy and only a healthy amont of humor. It's set in modernday 'human' america (havnt drawn a duck yet- ok maybe a rubber duck)

If you would like to participate:

•create artwork (one page black n white/grayscale-printed at manga size with room for your credit/a promo blurb/webaddy)
•post it to DA (or wherever) if you like, or just drop me a note to let me know/ your permission to print if chosen/ what credit or byline you would like (DA name/real name,other projects to credit, web address)

seeing another artists' rendition of a character always interests me- it's enriching to see through another's artistic filter. the word FANART doesnt give it the proper respect.
